Tickets booked directly with Lufthansa can be rebooked up to one hour before departure.
The prerequisite is that you have not already checked in, as a flight ticket that has already been checked in cannot be rebooked.
Rebooking
To change a booked flight ticket, you need to log in with your Travel ID under the section My Bookings/View and manage flight on Lufthansa’s website. You also have the option to change your flight under “Lookup single itinerary” on the same page. The latter is usefull if you do not already have a Travel ID. With this option you can instead log in using your last name and booking number.
Once logged in, click on “Change booking” and then simply make the changes you want. Re-booking and changes to the flight ticket are only possible if you have purchased this option when booking the ticket and have not checked in.
In cases where the rebooking involves additional costs – such as upgrading travel classes or if there are fees associated with the rebooking itself – these would be charged to the credit card (or other preferred payment method) provided.
Organize individual reservations
All of your flights are accessible with your booking code. You can reserve a seat in advance, change or cancel your flight, ask for special meals, and purchase a Rail&Fly ticket at any time. Additionally, you can directly reserve a hotel room, a car rental, or even travel insurance.
You can also enter Secure Flight program information, passport and visa information, and other information.
