KLM – Hand baggage

Below you can read the current rules regarding free check-in of baggage with KLM:

Allowance for Economy class

You are always permitted to bring the following items in Economy Class: 1 piece of hand luggage with a maximum size of 55 x 35 x 25 cm, including handles and wheels;

  • 1 accessory with a maximum dimension of 40 x 30 x 15 cm, such as a small purse or laptop bag.
  • The combined weight of your hand luggage is limited at 12 kg.

Allowance for Premium Comfort Class

  • You are always permitted to bring the following items in Premium Comfort Class: 2 pieces of hand luggage, each no larger than 55 x 35 x 25 cm, including handles and wheels; 1 accessory, such as a compact purse or laptop bag, no more than 40 x 30 x 15 cm.
  • The total weight of your hand luggage is permitted to be up to 18 kilograms.

Allowance for Business class

You are always permitted to bring the following goods in Business Class:

  • 2 pieces of hand luggage, each no larger than 55 x 35 x 25 cm, including handles and wheels;
  • 1 accessory, such as a compact purse or laptop bag, no more than 40 x 30 x 15 cm.

The total weight of your hand luggage is permitted to be up to 18 kilograms.
