KLM – Baggage

Allowance for Economy Class

When traveling in economy class, your ability to check a certain number of bags is based on a number of factors, including your destination and ticket type. Additionally, you can always buy additional bags, both before and after booking.

The following baggage allowances are available for every ticket category.

  • No checked luggage is provided with a light ticket.
  • One piece of checked baggage per standard or flexible ticket, up to 158 cm (length + width + height), including handles and wheels, and weighing no more than 23 kg.

On select routes, in addition to the standard allotment, you are permitted to check one additional bag. Make sure to figure out the precise figure for your route.

Allowance for Premium Comfort Class

You are allowed to check in two pieces of luggage when flying in premium comfort class. Each bag has a maximum size of 158 cm (length + breadth + height) and a maximum weight of 23 kg.

Allowance for Business Class

You are permitted to check two pieces of luggage when traveling in business class. Each bag has a maximum size of 158 cm (length + breadth + height) and a maximum weight of 32 kg.

Allowance for kids

Depending on their ticket class and whether or not they have their own seat, your children are allowed to bring a certain number of checked bags.

  • Have you reserved a spot for your kid? The number of checked bags specified by the ticket class you selected is permissible for you to bring.
  • Is your infant in your lap as you travel? If you have a ticket category that allows checked baggage, your child may bring one item up to 10 kilograms.
